· The position is responsible for leading a department with the following primary projects and activities:
o Provide vision and creative direction for all corporate and segment marketing efforts.
o Oversight and direction of company’s online & e-commerce activities
o Corporate image/branding
o Customer segment “go to market” collaborative planning & materials production
o Vendor marketing campaigns and programs
o Event management: both hosting of DCS’s own trade show and participating in various industry shows
o Catalogs and price lists
o Seasonal promotions and related marketing materials
o Track performance of marketing efforts
o Competitive research
· Manage and lead a team of marketing professionals fostering collaboration and a team environment while providing business direction and career development.
· Collaborate with segment management teams to facilitate development and implementation of their marketing plans.
· Direct online presence including website purpose, design, and function
· Drive traffic, leads, and sales, using SEO, SEM, marketing promotions, and other means for Direct customer segment
· Facilitate creation of marketing programs and vehicles that promote DSC’s supplier products specific to the target audience.
· Develop marketing strategy to effectively position DSC with its trading partners.
· Design, implement, and facilitate annual corporate marketing plan.
· Work closely with e-commerce team to identify and implement functionality enhancements to support business initiatives and enhance customer experience.
· Responsible for all corporate marketing including internet, print and event marketing.
· Manage relationships with outsourced marketing service providers, choosing vendors and negotiating terms.
· Develop and deploy segment and individual manufacturer promotional and advertising campaigns.
· Manage marketing budget to achieve results
· Establish marketing ROI measures and provide appropriate periodic reporting to management.
· Provide a positive and qualitative contribution to the success of the Client, team, co-workers, other customers and DSC.
· Contribute in team activities, provide regular communication of productivity, and perform other responsibilities as conditions warrant.
