About the MNBP
The Madison Network of Black Professionals is a diverse group of individuals, interconnected by heritage, education, business, technology and social activities with the purpose of networking and sharing information of interest to African Americans in Madison, Wisconsin. The Network was established in August 2004 with a group of 20 individuals who had an interest in connecting as professionals to help learn and leverage ourselves as active African Americans in Madison, Wisconsin. Since 2004, we have grown four times that size and plan to celebrate our fifth year in August 2009.
|
The work, activities, and planning of the Network is guided by our LIVE LEARN LEAD LINK Guidelines created in January 2010. These committees have the responsibility to: Live | Learn | Lead | Link | Offer opportunities for members to network so we feel connected to one another and the Madison Community. | Provide awareness of and offer opportunities that are professionally and personally supportive of African American professionals in Madison, Wisconsin. | Promote ideas and concepts that positively impact the Madison, Wisconsin African American community. | Partner with organizations and individuals with whom we can work to achieve shared goals. |
